Mount Takao in Autumn
Bron and I went to 高尾山 (Mount Takao) during autumn.
高尾山 is about 45 minutes west of Tokyo by train, so it’s really easy to get to. There were lots of people there, but most of them took the cable-car to near the top so at least the trail wasn’t too crowded. We took the side trail up and the main path down, which was a good move as the side path had some nice spots to rest and enjoy the view, and also has some variation in incline (the main path is uphill all the way).
The rest of the photos are in this album (or click the photo).

Thanks. It’s definitely good to get out of Tokyo. So far we’ve been limited to day trips, but we will be off to Nagano for a night soon, so that should be nice.
Not sure if I’ll stick with picasaweb, it seems decent and the iphoto export is nice. I was tempted by facebook when I saw the photo-tagging!

Ah, I was in Tokyo and then Kyoto last March. I love Japan, I loved the weather then and the food.
Hello! I am from Singapore. Are you from Australia?

Hi Tingal,
yeah, I’m from Australia (Melbourne), but I’ve been working in Tokyo for about 4 months now. The weather here has been pretty good so far, but it’s a bit colder than an Australian winter - it would be heaps colder than Singapore!
